It's been a couple months since I've attempted to take real photographs of my girls. It's way overdue for me, but here are a few, of the older two at least, that I snapped quickly yesterday, if you're interested...

I'm so out of practice, I don't have a title for this one

I might have forgotten about this blog completely had I not received comments and emails inquiring about my absence from it.
I guess I've been busy transforming my life.

So, it happened. We moved. We have been in California for a little over a month, and it is an understatement when I say my life (and my family's lives) have changed drastically from life in NYC. Almost everything about where we go, what we do, what we see and who we interact with is different. Even though I don't know how to live this life as mine yet, I am happy to be here. We feel at peace about it.

We are living with family, for the time being, and it has been great. It's actually been quite fun. Not only have my BIL and SIL made our adjustment easier, but we have played and traveled and gone out on dates together. Eventually, however, we will be getting our own place, and then I will have to adjust on my own. Until then, my real life is on hold.
I'll consider it a vacation.
