The girls had just flown across the country. It was 2:00 AM New York time. They were tired, but we didn't hear a word of complaint between waking them up to get off the plane to waiting for luggage to getting in the car (3:00 AM for us at that point) for a long car ride.
Yes, they have had a lot of practice, but I'm always amazed when they can be such troopers while traveling in the middle of the night. They made it as easy as it could probably be for us traveling with three little kids.

That is amazing. I was worried last night keeping a three year old up until 10:00 p.m. to watch the fireworks. Your children are awesome.
