Jonathan Canlas and our family photos

Here we all are. Together in one photo. Shocking.
So, we finally have family pictures! I can't wait to put some up on our wall.



Many of you already guessed that we hired Jonathan Canlas when we were in Utah last month (his photo above). I have always loved his style (can you tell???) so I knew I would be happy with the results. He was also so great with the kids during the shoot and he made us feel so confident, something I am most definitely not when I'm in front of the camera.
If you are in Utah looking for your family to be photographed, among other things, he's your man!

New Hampshire

I love living so close to New England. It is one thing I don't think I will ever take for granted.

This weekend, we visited friends up in New Hampshire. The colors up there were so vibrant and beautiful, but for some reason, I didn't take pictures of the leaves, trees and painted rolling hills. I mostly captured details of some of the places we went.

So charming. So New England.

The color is moving it's way south. It's welcome to stay as long as it wants.

We're off to New England.

It's just business

I did something a little different this week. At least, I did something for a different kind of client; I did head shots for an insurance company out on Long Island.
I went into this assignment a little blind, not having actually met or talked to anyone I would be photographing at the office. I didn't know who/what to expect. It ended up being very relaxing, and they even made me feel a little bit like a superstar. I shoot so much better when I feel like a superstar :)
