Here is one of my favorites from our trip out to Governor's Island today.
UPDATE:
Upon research, I found that this flag actually has 33 stars and was used after Oregon was adopted in 1859.
Sorry for the previous inaccurate title, "48 stars". I failed to count. Thanks Tadd! :-)

P.S. Is it open to the public now? The Coast Guard donated it to the city a while back, but for a long time the only ones there were firefighters and up keepers.
Why did you title the post 48 stars? I count 29.
