The baby I had flown across the country to meet decided to grace this world a day before my planned departure date. I have so much work to do now that I'm back (and I'm not just talking photos), but I'll leave this little teaser of my new nephew for now.
What a blessing this new life is. Times like these help me understand life just a bit more. Times like these also make me realize how happy I really am.

are you sure this was taken after the birth? Carrie "supposedely" just gave birth. She hardly looks it. How sweet.
